  24.    Maybe your modem is a RPI model... Then, the data compression and error
  25. correction must be performed by software. Have your ever tried to perform a
  26. AT+H1 command? If your modem responds OK, it is RPI. Otherwise, if the error
  27. correction and data compression is on board (the modem answers ERROR to AT+H1
  28. request).
